Believe In The Supernatural

12:20 Feb 1st, 2012 | 1 note

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

The meaning of the word ‘supernatural’ is some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature. The word ‘natural’ means something seen on an ordinary basis; caused by nature. A lot of people (I myself was one), believe that the natural, as in what is supposedly a fact here, is what is true. People limit their mentality based on circumstances or by what you see. What you see or what you hear with your senses is apparently ‘real’ and ‘natural’. But I have one question for you, do you believe in the supernatural? And no I’m not talking about magic or voodoo, I’m talking about God’s supernatural power? Do you believe that your mentality DOES and CAN affect the way the supernatural works? If your mind is based on what is seen or heard here and that’s all there is to it, then how do you expect for God to work with you if all you believe is in the natural? You have to open up that mentality, see that the supernatural can happen. Yes, that is miracles. Yes, that is healing. Yes, that is deliverance. Yes, that IS freedom. The supernatural can only be manifested if you allow it. The Holy Spirit flows within you and around you. You have the power to change a place just by stepping in. But, your mind needs to be fully open to the plans that God has cause usually, the things that occur aren’t planned out. If God has to drop a certain word to your life to impart in someone’s life, then that was in His plans. You have to stretch out your thinking and allow heavenly works to just flow and take place. Remember, what you see here on Earth isn’t a fact or an act up there. Be open to things that God will surprise you with, things that aren’t possible here but are possible with Him. Let your eyes, your words, your touch, your smell and your ears be blessed abundantly and let your supernatural be your natural.

Unforgiveness: A Hidden Affliction

1:53 Jan 29th, 2012 | 1 note

“And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” Mark 11:25 ESV

A lot of people don’t realize the weight of this topic; it’s strong meaning. Many don’t realize they’re even carrying this burden with them, its rarely noticeable. It feels like if you’re chained down, you’re being held back. It’s a spiritual battle that’s within the mind. I call unforgiveness a ‘hidden affliction’ just because it’s so tough to point out that most of us has either had it or still do have it. What is unforgiveness? Well, it’s resentment towards someone or something or even yourself. But even this can detain you from the great things God has planned out for you. I myself, was one carrying this burden. I had such a hatred towards one person that it not only hurts them, but it hurts you the most out of all the people. Who are we not to forgive if Jesus forgave us for our sins? We’re no different, we need to forgive and get rid of the dead waste. If you walk around with this baggage, all it’s going to do is damage you and those around you. It’s poison and harmful to our souls; we need to forgive. In the bible, Jesus was presented by a woman who was caught in the act of adultery. He said, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” No one did anything for the fact that Jesus forgave her and didn’t condemn her. How do you know if you have unforgiveness? Well, you’ll know by the way you look or perceive someone. You can even carry a burden within yourself. If you talk about a certain past situation and you can’t help but cry tears of pain, anger or resentment, then get rid of it, it isn’t healthy. We all have gone through it and some of you are going through it. Like I said, I’m no one to judge but I will give you a word for you to realize what needs to be done. It’s honestly excessive baggage which you don’t need. Free yourself from this.

The Power of Your Words

3:03 Jan 29th, 2012 | 3 notes

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.” Proverbs 18:21

Words have such a great impact on everything. It has a huge effect on music, on scripture or just verbal speaking; it’s use is important. Words are given to us for us to be able to express ourselves, for us to be able to get a specific message across. The world ‘works’ by our words. God gave us the ability to be able to use this as a type of communication with one another, He gave us the power to have control over our lives as well. Yes, God is in control of everything, but he also gave you a mouth to speak over your life and over others. He gave you the gift of being able to declare over your life, that meaning an abundance of blessings. Our words have POWER. It’s frightening to think that it has such an authority over situations, but it does. Our words can either bring death or can bring life over anyone or anything. Yes, God DOES get the final say, but he gave us the authority as well to step up to the plate and have an impact in our life. What the world has to say about you, yes it may seem a fact here, but up there? No, its not a fact until you make it one. It’s not a concrete or written, but the thing that IS written is that God provided you with the capacity to able to speak life. The doctor may say you have cancer or the bank may say you’re in serious debt, but if you don’t believe it and you stand up in the gap and you say, “God, I declare prosperity and full health over my life, I leave it all to you..”, then expect God to work in your life. Your words are an influence over people, over our world, over everything. Be attentive of what you speak. Remember… your words have immense power.

Not All Christians…

10:30 Jan 28th, 2012 | 1 note

Not all Christians are ‘religious’ like some people might say. The life of a Christian isn’t based on being ‘religious’, but having a relationship with God, a deep & spiritual bonding with Him. That is what makes us His sons and daughters. It is not just going to church or saying we are Christians; it’s just a label, not the full story. Not all Christians judge harshly at people & their mistakes. Yes, some people go overboard with their criticism and is that right? No, not at all. Some people that claim themselves lovers of Christ use violence to harm those that mess up. No, who are you to judge? We are all not like that. I can’t even call them true lovers of God because of the fact that Jesus is love and doesn’t use violence or criticism to get a point across. He is your only judge, no one else. Jesus loves every one of us, no matter how much we sin, He is there to forgive. Not all Christians are perfect, like people put us to be. People claim us to be rich or super strict or apparently, we’re ‘too holy’. No, stop with the judgement. Just because I believe in Jesus Christ doesn’t mean I can’t listen to different genres in music other than gospel. Yes, I listen to rap. Yes, I listen to Rock. Yes I listen to Punk. This doesn’t limit me; my relationship with Him doesn’t stop me from wearing clothes that I like. Since when is a type of clothing a religion? We all have sinned; We are all sinners. God died in the cross for our sins. He cleansed us with His blood, He has purified us. We all mess up, we’re still people, we still have feelings, we still fall. Who are you to say we’re all the same?

Jesus to the Rescue

8:55 Jan 28th, 2012 | 0 notes

Funny how hospitals use a cross to have a representation of restoration & recovery. When Jesus died on the cross, he bled for US, for our sins. Jesus is our restoration. He is the light to the blind, the sound to the deaf, the healer of all sick, He is mighty! Yet we still are blinded by nonsense. Yet we still follow things that are just harm and toxin to our bodies and soul. How you feel overpowered by the dirt, how you feel like your temptations get the best of you… put your foot down! Life isn’t a game, it’s given to you by choice, it’s a blessing to even be alive in the first place. Abusing of the gift gets you nowhere. Try to capture the message that your skin doesn’t have any authority, but HE does. Falling into the world of pornography, premarital sex, drugs, rebellion and no, I’m definitely not one to judge.. I’ve fallen into many holes but it’s time for the games and jokes to stop. The gift of life is no joke, that’s why it’s gotta end today. God gave us free will to choose for ourselves yet we still choose the poison. Step up, this isn’t a little joke, this is a must. Without having Him as your Savior, you’re nothing. We all need Him, we all do. Instead of making this a never ending problem, obtain a never ending experience with the one above. He is your judge, He is your Father.
